How to Overclock iPhone 7 Plus

We have not tested this tutorial on iPhone 7 Plus but would be working on lower models such as iPhone 2G, 3G, 3GS, 4S.

  1. First of all, make sure your device is jailbreak or not. If not then learn Jailbreaking from – iphonehacks.com
  2. Use Cydia iFile manager and go to System/Library/System Configuration/PowerManagement.bundle/
And For iPhone 4S, go to System/Library/System Configuration/
  3. Now we have to find “com.apple.SystemPowerProfileDefault.plist” scroll the list down, rename this file to “SystemPowerProfileDefaultbak.plist”
  4. Now Reboot your iPhone.
Models after iPhone 5 use dynamic clock scaling to ensure the optimum clock frequency provided by phone. In addition, I think frequency must in the range of 500Mhz when 1.3GHz is on full load. Apple uses dynamic clock scaling underclock devices to provide maximum battery life of your phone.
