Hello, I purchased an Acer Aspire e15 back in November 2018 and I used it until yesterday of June 9 2020 with a few issues but nothing that I wasn’t able to recover from. However yesterday it died, did the aforementioned procedure & refused to boot, even to a bios. I was able to get it working for a few hours long enough to get my files off but after another freeze and hard reset it will not even do that regardless of whether or not it is plugged in.

During the time I managed to get it working it originally had reset itself to use UEFI I rather than legacy. It took a few hard resets but after discovering this i corrected it and successfully booted into my OS (Linux mint). While I believe the hard drive is still fine, the actual computer is not. Does anyone have any experience with this or suggestions to correct this (other than buying a new computer)?
