We have to increase the frequency of Antminer B3 to overclock it. Remember you will void your 6 months warranty provided by Bitmain.
Overclocking will increase the hash rate of your ASIC machine and in return, heat will be nearly doubled. In the worst case, your device may destroy. So take care while performing this process and increase with maintaining the stability of the device. Increase PSU if needed.
Note down current hash rate and temperature of the machine to measure to calculate the change.
What is overclocking?
Overclocking is the process of configuring the hardware components of the CPU or GPU to derive extra utility and performance than the default. Overclocking is generally done by increasing the frequency of the device.
The higher the clock speed you are trying to achieve more the voltage you will require to power that attempts. You have to provide proper power supply to your Antminer. In the process of Overclocking other hardware components such as RAM are also involved which makes the process more heated up.

Warning: Overclocking Antminer will void the 6 months warranty provided by Bitmain.
Overclocking results in overheating which may destroy your device and in the worst case, you may lose your device. Keep your device in the cool atmosphere and provide external cooling by fans and Air conditioner. Read – is it safe to overclock Antminers
Bytom is designed to an ASIC friendly coin by using a new PoW, matrix and convolution calculation to improve hashing process. Bytom uses the SHA-256 algorithm for encryption.
To overclock Antminer B3
1. Go to Advanced settings if not available then give a direct call by Going to http://192.168.x.x/cgi-bin/minerAdvanced.cgi
Advanced Setting Tab
2. Increase your miner’s frequency by 100M
See results and enjoy the new hash rate if not works then you are free to comment.
